Herbs de Provence Dipping Oil

This is the perfect accoutrement to your crusty loaf of bread! Put the garlic in to roast earlier in the day, and whip this fabulous oil up in no time!

Ingredients

1/2 Cup of Extra Virgin Olive Oil (We love Temecula Olive Oil Co.)

1/2 head of roasted organic garlic. Look for garlic that still has the roots at the bottom! Drizzle with olive oil, wrap in foil and bake on 350 for 45 minutes to start, but it may need 10-15 minutes longer— let cool, then squeeze the cloves out!

2 teaspoons of Herbs de Provence

1/2 teaspoon of Lavender Pepper

1/4 teaspoon of Lavender Salt

In a blender or food processor blend the roasted garlic with the olive oil. Add the herbs de Provence, lavender pepper, and lavender salt. Allow the flavors to infuse for 15-20 minutes before using. Serve as a dipping oil with crusty French bread, drizzle over vegetables, salads, or even meats!
